Thanks for visiting ‘Treasure Your Being!’ My name is Mollie, and I am a 20-something, currently living in Boston.

This blog has existed since January 2013, and it started as a way to chronicle my daily adventures with food, exercise, and my lovely home city of Minneapolis. I started ‘Treasure Your Being’ after being inspired by reading other blogs where women openly discussed their journeys around food, exercise, and the daily adventures of life. Although the blog started as a way for me to document finding enjoyment in healthy living, it has grown into more of a travel journal/ daily chronicle. In many ways, this blog serves as a primary creative outlet for me, and I find the content of my posts changing in relation to what I need it to be at the time. Like all of the best things, this blog is adaptable. 🙂

The title of my blog comes from a gift I was given by a counselor who helped me to establish a healthy relationship with food/exercise. We met together primarily during my senior year of college, and when I graduated she gave me this laminated card:

On the front…

…and on the back

I’ve carried this card with me in either my purse or wallet ever since, and even though I don’t necessarily pull it out to read all the time anymore, I feel that it is a little piece of encouragement always with me.

I hope you enjoy reading my blog and please leave me any questions or comments!
