Mesa Pizza

Since Mesa Pizza opened an Uptown location last fall, much excitement has surrounded this pizza-by-the-slice joint. With its flagship location in Dinkytown, Mesa has been popular with students for ages. And then those students graduate. And move to Uptown. And miss Mesa Pizza.

Mesa is known for their creative slices (think mac & cheese and spicy chicken quesadilla). Noah and I went there this weekend and got a sampling:

I had the eggplant and vegan veggie slices. I wasn’t a huge fan of the eggplant – it was flavorful, but the eggplant slices were pretty thin and mostly just breading. The vegan veggie, however, was the real star:

Look at all those delicious vegetables! The seasoning was great, the vegetables tasted fresh, and they were piled on high. Super satisfying. I would definitely recommend going here to see a creative and tasty menu.
